Originally founded in 1983 by Dr. Robert Saniuk, and expanded with Dr. James Biskup in 1991, our practice has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving independently owned clinic. While Dr. Saniuk has recently retired, Dr. Biskup continues to lead our team, upholding our tradition of strong community roots and personalized patient care. Alongside Dr. Biskup, our team of experienced physician assistants brings over 120 years of combined medical expertise to ensure you receive the highest quality of care. Flu Vaccinations: Protect Your Family This Season
Protecting yourself and your loved ones from seasonal illnesses is a priority. Bellevue Family Practice offers both regular and high-dose flu vaccinations. The high-dose vaccine is specifically formulated for patients 65 and older, providing enhanced protection for our senior community members. To ensure efficient service and minimize wait times, we encourage you to call in advance to schedule your flu shot appointment.
COVID-19 Information: Testing and Guidance
Staying informed and prepared regarding COVID-19 remains important. While we do not administer COVID-19 vaccinations or booster shots at our clinic, we are here to support you with testing services. Bellevue Family Practice provides COVID-19 testing for both existing and new patients aged 12 and older, strictly by appointment. Please call us to schedule your COVID test. For vaccination, we recommend checking with your local pharmacy for the most convenient access. It is important to note that we do not provide COVID vaccine exemption letters.
Regarding testing, we offer both rapid flu tests, with results available within 20 minutes at our office, and COVID-19 PCR tests which are sent to an outside laboratory with results typically taking 24-48 hours. Please be aware that COVID-19 PCR tests are billed separately by the testing laboratory, and Bellevue Family Practice will bill for the specimen collection. We strongly advise you to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage for COVID-19 related testing and services.
Convenient Appointment Scheduling: Same-Day and Next-Day Availability
We understand that your health concerns can arise unexpectedly. Bellevue Family Practice strives to offer accessible and timely care with same-day and next-day appointment availability. While walk-ins are welcome, and we will do our best to accommodate you, we highly recommend calling ahead to schedule your appointment to ensure you are seen promptly. If you are experiencing urgent symptoms and we are unable to schedule you on the same day, please seek immediate care at Urgent Care or the nearest Emergency Room.

To ensure a smooth and efficient visit, Bellevue Family Practice requests that you bring your current photo ID and insurance card to each appointment. This helps us maintain accurate records and protect your identity. You may be asked to update your patient information forms, health history, HIPAA, and insurance paperwork to comply with office policies and insurance requirements. We also verify your insurance prior to your appointment to minimize your time in the reception area and ensure accurate claim submission.
