Do you have a passion for helping young people? Are you patient, understanding, and a good listener? Center For Family Services Nj invites you to become a trained mentor and play a pivotal role in shaping a child’s future. Mentoring is a rewarding way to give back to your community and directly impact the life of a young person in need of guidance and support.
As a volunteer mentor with Center for Family Services NJ, you will have the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a young person. Through one-on-one interactions, group activities, and peer support, you can help them boost their self-esteem, develop crucial life skills, navigate challenges, and explore their educational and career aspirations. Mentors provide a positive influence, helping young people build resilience, set achievable goals, and broaden their horizons through social activities and supportive guidance.
LifeTies Mentoring, a program of Center for Family Services NJ, connects volunteer mentors with youth aged 10-21. Matches are made based on shared interests to foster strong mentor-mentee relationships.
