Military Sick Call Information
For active duty service members requiring immediate attention for acute medical issues, our clinic offers Military Sick Call. Key details include:
- Eligibility: Active Duty Service Members only, for conditions that have arisen or worsened within the last 72 hours and impede duty performance.
- Uniform Requirement: Service members must arrive in uniform (UOD or PT).
- Check-in Time: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. on regular duty days (excluding weekends, Federal Holidays, and days with morning clinic closures).
- Triage and Evaluation: Patients are triaged by medical personnel, and acute concerns are addressed based on urgency.
- Appointment Start Time: Appointments begin at 7:30 a.m. in order of severity.
- Non-Sick Call Concerns: Service members with issues not suitable for Sick Call will be scheduled for same-day or next-day appointments with their Primary Care Manager (PCM) at ATAMMC, if applicable. Assistance will be provided for those empaneled outside of ATAMMC.
- Temporary Profiles: Sick Call can issue temporary profiles/light duty for up to 7 days. Longer limitations require evaluation by the PCM.
- Conditions Not Seen in Sick Call: Chronic conditions, follow-up appointments, medication refills, profile renewals, referrals, separation/retirement physicals, and preventative health assessments (PHAs) are not handled in Sick Call.
Immunization Services
Augusta family medicine at ATAMMC provides essential immunization services to protect our patient community.
- Seasonal Vaccination Information: Refer to ATAMMC Seasonal Vaccination Information for the latest updates.
- Availability: Contact the clinic prior to your visit to confirm vaccine availability. Immunizations are available by appointment or during existing appointments.
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Available for ages 6 months and older (Pediatric Clinic for 6 months to 11 years; Allergy & Immunization Clinic for 12 years and older).
- Flu Vaccine: Available for ages 6 months and older.
- Routine Immunizations: Wellness and routine immunizations are available for patients empaneled to Family Medicine. Schedule an appointment for immunizations, though walk-ins are accommodated on a limited basis.
- Vaccine Records: We offer vaccine record updates and documentation services.
- Travel Vaccines: For all travel vaccines (Typhoid, Japanese Encephalitis, Yellow Fever, etc.), please visit the Allergy and Immunizations Clinic in Meadows Pavilion, Floor 1, Reception 2.
