Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Friday – Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday: CLOSED

Please be aware that final admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

Admission

Explore affordable fun for the whole family with our admission rates:

  • General Admission (Age 1 – 59): $10
  • Infants (Under Age 1): Free
  • Seniors (Age 60+): $5
  • Military Discount: $5 for active duty, dependent, and retired military personnel, including spouses and children residing in the household.
  • EBT Cardholders: $4 per person upon presentation of an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and valid photo ID, thanks to the Museums for All program.
  • Family Museum Members: Free admission. Become a member today!

Important Note: For the safety and enjoyment of all our young visitors, children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Museums for All Access Program

The Family Museum proudly participates in the Museums for All initiative, dedicated to making museum experiences accessible to everyone. Families receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can enjoy a reduced admission rate of just $4 per person by presenting their EBT card and a valid photo ID.

Private Mother’s Room

We understand the needs of nursing mothers and welcome you to feed your children comfortably throughout the museum. For those seeking a private and quiet space, we provide a dedicated Mother’s Room conveniently located next to the Welcome Desk. Please inquire at the Welcome Desk for access to this room.

Certified Autism Center

The Family Museum is committed to inclusivity and is proud to be designated as a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC). Through collaboration with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), our staff has received specialized training and certification in best practices for assisting individuals with autism. Sensory-Friendly Special Needs Kits

To further support visitors with specific needs, the Family Museum offers complimentary sensory kits. These kits are available upon request from our Guest Services staff and are designed to assist in calming children who may benefit from sensory support. Each kit contains items such as calming brushes, sensory toys, and tools to help children manage any tension they may experience while exploring and playing within the museum environment.

Additionally, our staff is always happy to provide access to a quiet, dimly lit room when needed, offering a calming retreat for your child.

Family Museum Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all visitors, we have established a Code of Conduct. We kindly ask all guests to review these guidelines for appropriate behavior while visiting the Family Museum. Please note that the Family Museum maintains the right to remove any individual whose behavior is deemed disruptive, inappropriate for a children’s museum setting, or interferes with the experience of other guests.
