Located conveniently on the hospital campus, the PROUD Center offers adult patients seamless access to a wide spectrum of healthcare services. From on-site laboratory and radiology to specialized cardiology and oncology departments, and even emergency services, we provide integrated care under one umbrella. For added convenience, an on-site Walgreen’s pharmacy ensures easy prescription fulfillment. Understanding the needs of our community, we also offer telehealth services, expanding access to care beyond geographical limitations.

Behavioral Health Support
Understanding the integral connection between mental and physical health, the Babs Siperstein PROUD Center provides direct access to specialized behavioral health services. Our dedicated outpatient behavioral health therapist is experienced in working with the LGBTQ+ community and offers both in-person and telehealth appointments five days a week.
This service provides a safe and confidential space to explore gender identity, sexual orientation, navigate the coming out process, build coping mechanisms, and strengthen personal support networks. We are here to offer understanding, acceptance, and a collaborative approach to addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals and their proud families.
We accept most major insurance plans. For uninsured LGBTQ+ patients, costs for behavioral health services are covered through the generosity of a grant from TD Bank, ensuring accessible mental healthcare for all. To schedule a confidential appointment, please call 908-243-8647.
Empowering Career Workshops
The Babs Siperstein PROUD Center is committed to holistic well-being, extending support beyond healthcare to include career development. Patients of the PROUD Center are eligible to participate in our “Build Your Career Your Way” in-person workshop. This valuable program consists of three engaging two-hour classes led by Raritan Valley Community College’s Certified Career Interview Coach and Resume Writer, Donnella Tillery.
Workshop Highlights:
- Refine your interview techniques to confidently impress hiring managers and recruiters.
- Learn to create compelling cover letters and keyword-optimized resumes that get noticed.
- Develop effective job search strategies to identify companies and roles that align with your career aspirations and personal values.
- Bring your specific career questions and receive personalized guidance during each session.
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a Resume Writing Certification from RVCC, a valuable asset in their professional journey.
