As a Registered Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for performing a variety of radiology services, including general radiology exams and fluoroscopic procedures, for patients of all ages. Your friendly and empathetic approach will be crucial in ensuring patient comfort and easing anxieties during their healthcare experience. This role offers varying shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a balanced work schedule.
Key Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:
- Conduct general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures with precision.
- Generate high-quality diagnostic images promptly for accurate interpretation.
- Manage images using PACS, including acquisition, archiving, transmission, and printing.
- Prioritize patient well-being by ensuring comfort and safety throughout and following procedures.
- Clearly educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to foster understanding and cooperation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
- Proactively address equipment issues, reporting malfunctions to management, the help desk, and the PACS administrator.
- Assist with procedure scheduling, patient prioritization, and billing processes.
Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Technologist (R.T)(R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
- Valid state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of practical experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.
