Hey everyone! Freak Skullz here, or Freaky as some of you know me. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I embarked on my first anime fanfiction adventure with one of my all-time favorite series, Familiar Of Zero, also known as Zero no Tsukaima. That journey gave birth to “A Reaper in our magic academy?” and it’s been an incredible ride.
Initially, the story took a different path. I envisioned it starting during the first season of Familiar of Zero. The Grim Reaper and Saito would be summoned by Louise, and a unique pairing would emerge – Louise and the Grim Reaper. This concept stemmed from the Reaper’s fascination with Louise’s void magic and her peculiar ability to summon him.
However, as I delved deeper, I felt the narrative needed a different spark. Agnes Chevalier, a character I felt deserved more attention, and Siesta, my second favorite female character from Familiar of Zero, came into focus. This led me to shift the story’s starting point to the second season of the anime. And just like that, my first ever “book” was born.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine completing a full-fledged book that followed the entire Familiar of Zero anime series. The original ending was meant to be a dramatic sacrifice – the Reaper destroying himself to defeat an army, saving millions, including Agnes. But thanks to the incredible feedback and encouragement from all of you, the story expanded, evolving alongside Familiar of Zero until its very conclusion.
I am immensely proud of “A Reaper in our magic academy?” and overjoyed that it has entertained so many of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this journey possible. Your comments and support fueled its growth and completion. I sincerely hope to continue creating stories that you’ll enjoy.
