Welcoming New Patients and Panel Updates
We are thrilled to share that in June 2024, Burke Family Practice opened its doors to welcome new patients. The response was truly heartwarming, with our office receiving an incredible 144 phone calls on June 3rd alone! By June 20th, 2024, we had the pleasure of adding over 100 new individuals to our patient family. We are so grateful for the opportunity to extend our care to more members of the community.

While we cherish the opportunity to meet new patients and expand our practice, our primary responsibility is to ensure the continued well-being of our existing patient base. To maintain the high standard of care our patients expect and deserve, we have made the decision to return to a mostly closed panel as of today. This means we are currently not accepting new patients unless directly approved by Dr. Burke. This measure allows us to continue providing timely appointments and personalized attention to all our valued patients. We understand the need for primary care physicians in our community is significant. We have communicated with 12 other primary care doctors in our network, unfortunately, they also currently have closed panels. We anticipate reopening our panel to new patients again later in 2024 and will be sure to announce any changes.
Exciting New Office Location in Boynton Beach
In April 2022, Burke Family Practice relocated to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. Our new address is 2623 S Seacrest BLVD, Suite #106, Boynton Beach, FL 33435, situated in the Bethesda Medical Arts Building. This convenient location is just 2 miles north of our previous office on Palm Court and offers numerous advantages for our patients.

The new office is located on the ground floor, providing easy access for all patients, including those with mobility concerns. Ample parking is readily available, eliminating the stress of finding a parking spot before your appointment. Furthermore, the Bethesda Medical Arts Building houses on-site imaging and lab services, with Bethesda, Quest, and Apex all conveniently located next door. This co-location of services streamlines your healthcare experience, allowing for greater convenience when you need additional tests or procedures. Our Palm Court office was officially closed on April 4th, 2022, and we are delighted to welcome you to our improved and more accessible new location.
Expanded Insurance Coverage
We are continuously working to broaden our accepted insurance plans to ensure our services are accessible to as many patients as possible. As of mid-October 2021, Burke Family Practice has successfully finalized contracts with a wide range of major insurance providers. We have partnered with a group of 13 local primary care physicians to expand our insurance offerings and are proud to be a fully physician-owned and operated practice.

We currently accept the following insurance plans:
- Cigna: Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Health Exchange EPO. (Please note: We no longer accept Cigna Connect). No Cigna Medicare plans.
- Humana: Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Medicare PPO. No Medicare HMO. No Health Exchange plans.
- BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield): Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Medicare PPO, Medicare HMO (some plans), Health Exchange Blue Select. No MyBlue Health Exchange.
- UHC (UnitedHealthcare): Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Medicare PPO, and Medicare HMO. No Platinum or Navigate plans.
- Neighborhood Health Partnership (NHP): Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Medicare PPO, and Medicare HMO.
- Aetna: Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Medicare PPO. No Medicare HMO.
- Coventry: Regular PPO and Regular HMO.
- Avmed: Regular PPO, Regular HMO, Medicare PPO. No Medicare HMO.
- Oscar Health: Regular PPO.
- Medicare: We are a participating Medicare provider and accept the Medicare allowable amount for covered services. We accept 9 different Medicare Advantage plans. If we do not participate with your specific Medicare Advantage plan, you will be responsible for your deductible (if not met) and the 20% Medicare co-payment if you lack secondary insurance.
Important Insurance Notes:
- We do not accept auto insurance or worker’s compensation insurance.
- If we are not a participating provider with your insurance plan, full payment is required at the time of your visit.
- For optimal coverage, it is always best to stay within your health insurance network. Contact your insurance provider to confirm network participation.
