Dr. Amanda Huston: Leading with Expertise and Dedication
Dr. Amanda Huston, OD, FAAO, is a cornerstone of our practice. Her impressive academic background includes an undergraduate degree from Houghton College and a Doctorate of Optometry and Master’s degree in vision science from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Huston’s commitment to excellence is further highlighted by her induction into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and the Gold Key International Honor Society. Her specialized training continued with a pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, culminating in the Terrence N. Ingraham Pediatric Residency Award for her exceptional clinical skills in pediatric patient care.
Dr. Lauren Bobick: Welcoming a New Family Eye Physician
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Lauren Bobick, OD, FAAO, to our growing team of family eye physicians. Joining us in January 2024, Dr. Bobick brings a wealth of knowledge and a caring approach to patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Ohio and her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University in 2011. Dr. Bobick’s expertise was further refined during her Ocular Disease and Primary Care Residency at the Albuquerque VA. Active in the optometric community, she is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Bobick has also contributed to the field through her presentation and paper on ‘Longitudinal Impact of Diabetes Mellitus And Prostaglandin Analogue Use On Central Corneal Thickness’ at the American Academy meeting in Phoenix in 2012. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Bobick is known for her vibrant personality, compassionate nature, and dedication to animal welfare.
