Your Role at Wildwood Family Clinic
As a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist at Wildwood Family Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing long-term behavioral health therapy to a diverse patient population. You will engage with patients through a hybrid model, combining the personal connection of in-person sessions at our Madison and Cottage Grove, WI locations with the flexibility of telehealth virtual visits. You will be responsible for seeing scheduled patients for both acute and brief behavioral health interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to provide counseling, conduct thorough evaluations, and deliver effective treatment plans in both individual and family settings. This role offers the chance to contribute to a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to patient care, working alongside dedicated family physicians and support staff. In addition to direct patient care, you will also participate in quarterly department meetings, fostering collaboration and contributing to the ongoing development of our behavioral health services.
Qualifications to Thrive
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in a behavioral science or a closely related field. Furthermore, a professional mental health license (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) valid within the state of Wisconsin is essential. We are seeking candidates with at least five years of proven clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in behavioral health therapy. Comfort and proficiency in using computers for telehealth services and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) are also required to effectively manage patient information and deliver virtual care.
We are particularly interested in self-sufficient therapists who have experience and a genuine interest in working with a broad spectrum of ages, from elderly patients to young children as young as two years old. Your ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of different age groups will be highly valued at Wildwood Family Clinic.
