Get ready for a unique golf experience coming to Greenville! The Links at Fluor Field, presented by Haas Family Golf, is bringing an 18-hole golf course to a baseball stadium, all to benefit First Tee — Upstate South Carolina. This exciting event offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to play golf in a completely new setting.
“The Links” is a special fundraiser for First Tee — Upstate South Carolina, transforming Fluor Field into a playable golf course for two days. Golfers and families are invited to participate and enjoy this novel format. Imagine teeing off from various locations around the stadium, including the iconic Green Monster, and even taking shots from home plate onto targets placed on the field. Participants will compete to be crowned the first-ever Links at Fluor Field Champion. Beyond the golf, attendees can also take a tour of the Greenville Drive’s Clubhouse.
The event is scheduled across two days, September 24th and 25th, and features special “Glow Golf” evening rounds on both Friday and Saturday. During these nighttime sessions, the field will be illuminated, creating a spectacular and fun golfing atmosphere.
Daytime tee times, available between noon and 7:15 pm on Friday and from 10:15 am to 7:15 pm on Saturday, are priced at $125 per player. This fee includes both food and a beverage. For the unique Glow Golf experience, happening from 7:45 to 9:30 pm on Friday and 7:45 to 9:00 pm on Saturday, the greens fee is $150 per player and includes an open bar.
Secure your tee time online by visiting www.firstteeupstate.org/thelinks. Even if you’re not playing, the event is open to general admission for just $5 per person per day. It’s a family-friendly outing with food and drinks available for purchase, making it a perfect weekend activity.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available through the website: www.firstteeupstate.org/thelinks. First Tee — Upstate South Carolina expresses gratitude to title sponsor Haas Family Golf Center, along with other sponsors like Orange Whip, World Finance Corporation, Delaney’s Irish Pub, JPMorganChase, Corbin Turf, and Southern First Bank.
All proceeds from The Links at Fluor Field Presented by Haas Family Golf Center will directly benefit First Tee — Upstate South Carolina. This chapter is part of a global youth development organization using golf to teach valuable life skills and healthy habits. Serving Cherokee, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson counties, the Upstate South Carolina chapter is experiencing rapid growth and positive community impact.
To further promote this event, everyone is invited to First Tee Family Night at the Greenville Drive Game on August 27th at 7 p.m. First Tee participant Jonathan Roe will perform the National Anthem, and Carolyn Echols, manager of Haas Family Golf Center, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Enjoy fun activities for all ages at this special evening. You don’t need to be affiliated with First Tee to join the fun. Reserve your game tickets at: www.tinyurl.com/2021DriveGame.
