At Associates In Family Medicine, we understand the importance of accessible and comprehensive healthcare for you and your family. That’s why we utilize a full electronic health record system, ensuring that your medical information is readily available to your physician regardless of which of our locations you visit. You can rest assured that your care will be seamless and well-coordinated, with your health history at your doctor’s fingertips anytime, anywhere within our network.
Streamlining Your Access with Open Access Scheduling
We prioritize your convenience through our Open Access Appointment scheduling system. This innovative approach is designed to make seeing your physician easier than ever. In most cases, by calling us early in the morning, you can secure a same-day appointment. This ensures that you receive timely medical attention when you need it most, without unnecessary delays. While we champion same-day appointments, Associates in Family Medicine also recognizes that some situations require advance planning. Therefore, we offer a limited number of pre-scheduled appointments to accommodate patients who need to plan ahead due to work commitments, transportation challenges, or other personal needs. For added flexibility, you can also schedule or reschedule appointments conveniently through our Health Link Patient Portal. This online portal empowers you to manage your healthcare on your own terms.
Respecting Your Time and Ensuring Efficient Visits
We are committed to seeing you as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible. We understand that your time is valuable. However, we also want to be transparent that unforeseen situations can sometimes arise in a medical practice, requiring additional time with other patients. Please know that if we experience delays, it’s because we are dedicated to providing every patient with the time and attention they deserve, just as we would extend to you or your loved ones should the need arise.
In consideration of other patients and the smooth operation of our practice, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. This advance notice allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient in need. Please be aware that a charge may be applied for missed appointments if you do not provide sufficient notification.
Upon arrival for your appointment at Associates in Family Medicine, please check in with our receptionist and present both your insurance card and your Heritage Valley Care Card. To ensure accurate billing and claims processing, we require sight of your insurance card at every visit. Furthermore, to protect your personal information and prevent identity theft, we may also ask for a valid driver’s license or a state/government-issued photo ID for positive identification. Your security is paramount to us. Finally, we ask that you promptly inform us of any changes to your address, phone number, employer, or insurance information to keep your records current and ensure seamless communication and billing.
