Bert Kreischer Family: Get to Know His Wife LeeAnn and Daughters Georgia & Ila

Bert Kreischer, the comedian celebrated for his shirtless stand-up and wild storytelling, often brings his personal life into his acts. At the heart of his world is the Bert Kreischer Family, featuring his wife, LeeAnn Kreischer, and their two daughters, Georgia and Ila. Married since December 2003, Bert and LeeAnn’s family life is deeply interwoven with their professional endeavors. Their daughters were born shortly after their marriage; Georgia in June 2004, and Ila in July 2006, making them integral to Bert’s comedic narrative and LeeAnn’s podcasting journey.

Bert has openly expressed his joy in fatherhood. In a 2015 episode of The Church of What’s Happening Now podcast, he shared, “I love the fun of being a parent.” Contrasting his on-stage persona, Bert described himself to Jimmy Kimmel as a “strict, overbearing” parent. LeeAnn provided further insight into their parenting approach on the Skinny Confidential podcast in 2024, explaining their focus on understanding their children’s individuality by asking them “who they are” rather than imposing predefined roles.

The Kreischer children are not just bystanders; they are active participants in their parents’ careers. Georgia and Ila frequently appear on Bert’s podcast, Bertcast, and LeeAnn’s podcast, Wife of the Party. Bert often incorporates stories about his daughters into his comedy shows and specials, and they’ve even joined him on tour. In 2023, both Georgia and Ila were involved in the Fully Loaded Comedy Festival, and the entire family made a memorable appearance on Family Feud, showcasing their close-knit dynamic.

Born on June 8, 2004, Georgia Mae Kreischer is the firstborn in the Bert Kreischer family. Just three days after Georgia’s arrival, Bert was back on tour, emphasizing LeeAnn’s pivotal role in managing early parenthood. Bert acknowledged on a 2022 episode of Bertcast, “LeeAnn did everything,” highlighting his wife’s dedication during his demanding travel schedule.

Despite his touring commitments, Bert made sure to be present in key moments of Georgia’s childhood. “I taught her how to ride a bike, I taught her how to swim,” he proudly shared, emphasizing his involvement in her milestones. Described by Bert as a studious and well-behaved child, Georgia was an honors student known for her love of reading and minimal teenage drama. “She’s perfect,” Bert commented on The Church of What’s Happening Now podcast, reflecting his admiration for her early years.

Beyond academics, Georgia was also active in sports. She played softball in high school, achieving the highest batting average on her team until she decided to step away from the sport during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Bert. After graduating high school in 2022, Georgia embarked on her college journey out of state. The Kreischer family marked this significant transition with a memorable trip to Italy during the summer before she started university. This vacation served as a poignant lead-up to Bert and LeeAnn dropping Georgia off at college, an emotional moment for the usually jovial comedian.

Bert openly shared his emotional reaction to Georgia leaving for college. “I held it together until she was out of the car, and then all hell broke loose,” he wrote in a Facebook post, accompanied by a photo of him in tears, illustrating the deep bond within the Bert Kreischer family. Celebrating Georgia’s 19th birthday in 2023, LeeAnn shared a series of 19 Instagram photos, affectionately describing Georgia as a “water baby,” a “softball queen” and a “lovely person,” highlighting her diverse attributes. Bert also publicly celebrated Georgia’s milestones, posting on Facebook for her 18th birthday, “Always remember, no one will ever love you as much as I love you!!!!”

Georgia has followed in her parents’ footsteps by engaging with their podcasting world. Beyond appearances on Bertcast, she has had significant roles on her mother’s podcast, Wife of the Party. In an April 2023 episode, Georgia discussed Bert’s storytelling prowess, admitting, “I love telling stories. I understand why Dad does it for a living,” and expressed her preference for storytelling over digital distractions. She has also joined Bert on the road, participating in the 2023 Fully Loaded Tour, even joining him on stage in Oklahoma City, further cementing her place in the Bert Kreischer family business. From visiting the set of Bert’s show Trip Flip as a pre-teen to touring with him, Georgia has grown up immersed in her father’s career. At home in Los Angeles, Georgia’s interests extend to her pets, including her own chicken, adding to the lively Kreischer household which includes dogs and cats.

LeeAnn revealed on the Skinny Confidential podcast that they chose the middle name “Grace” for its “beautiful meaning.” Growing up, Ila was active in sports, enjoying tennis and softball, and also training in Jiu-Jitsu.

Following Georgia’s path, Ila is also set to attend college, starting in 2024. Bert proudly announced on Instagram that Ila was accepted into every college she applied to, expressing immense pride in her achievement. Bert has openly discussed Ila’s dyslexia and how it shapes her unique perspective. “Her brain just sees the world differently, and she’s so funny,” he remarked on The Church of What’s Happening Now in 2015, celebrating her distinctive way of thinking. He further added on the same podcast four years later that Ila has a resilient character, able to “take adversity on the chin and deal with it.”

Ila’s life experiences have become rich material for Bert’s comedy. In his 2020 Netflix special, Hey Big Boy, Bert humorously recounted the story of Ila’s first period, detailing how he helped her prepare a “First Period Party.” He described the event with comedic flair, mentioning Ila naming her period “Jason” because it started on Friday the 13th, and joking about his own enthusiastic participation in the themed party. Bert acknowledged Ila’s comedic potential on the Dr. Drew After Dark podcast in 2019, stating, “That kid’s a gold mine for material.”

As Ila approaches adulthood, LeeAnn reflected on their parenting journey in a November 2022 episode of Wife of the Party. Speaking to Ila, she said, “You’ve been a really good teenager so far,” and added, “I feel really lucky. And like maybe Dad and I did an okay job on raising you to this point.” The Bert Kreischer family continues to be a captivating blend of comedy, family values, and shared experiences, all while navigating life in the public eye.
