Do you have a passion for helping young people and want to positively influence their lives? At Center For Family Services, we believe in the power of mentorship to shape brighter futures. If you are a caring, patient, and understanding individual with strong listening skills, consider becoming a trained volunteer mentor and help a young person navigate their journey to success.

As a volunteer mentor with Center for Family Services, you will have the rewarding opportunity to spend quality time with a young person, guiding them towards a more positive self-image and promoting healthy development. Your role will be crucial in helping them overcome daily challenges, build essential social and leadership skills, and develop resilience. Mentors also play a vital role in helping young individuals explore educational and career paths, set meaningful goals, broaden their perspectives, engage in social activities, and simply experience the joys of positive interaction and fun. Your commitment as a mentor can create a lasting, positive impact on a young person’s life, contributing to stronger communities served by Center for Family Services.

LifeTies Mentoring, a program supported by Center for Family Services, offers various avenues for involvement, including individual support sessions, group mentoring activities, and peer-led initiatives, all guided by dedicated mentors. We carefully match mentors and mentees based on shared interests to foster strong connections and collaborative goal achievement. Currently, LifeTies Mentors are especially needed to support youth aged 10-21 as they strive towards a safe, healthy, and fulfilling future. Your support can be the turning point in a young person’s life, offering them the guidance and encouragement they need.
