The Family Pantry Of Cape Cod extends its caring hand to our campus community through a convenient satellite food pantry right here on campus. Located in the Grossman Building, across from the bookstore, our on-campus pantry provides crucial food assistance to eligible 4Cs individuals every week. We encourage all members of our college family who could benefit from this resource to utilize it. Each week, you can select one pre-packed bag filled with non-perishable food items, and also choose from a variety of available fresh and perishable goods to supplement your needs.
Easy Registration for New Pantry Clients (Allow 30 minutes for your first visit)
Getting started with the Family Pantry of Cape Cod on campus is simple. Your initial registration process is designed to be quick and respectful of your time. Here’s what you need to do:
- Bring your valid 4Cs ID card. This is essential for verification and to confirm your eligibility as a member of the Cape Cod Community College community.
- Upon arrival, our friendly Pantry team will guide you through a brief registration process. You will be registered as a Pantry Client and issued a unique Pantry ID.
- Remember to bring your Pantry ID with you each time you visit the pantry. This ID ensures a smooth and efficient check-in process for every subsequent visit, allowing you to quickly access the food resources you need.
- As a registered Pantry Client, you are welcome to shop at the campus pantry each week that classes are in session, providing consistent support throughout the academic year.
Convenient On-Campus Locker Delivery Option
Understanding that campus life can be busy, the Family Pantry of Cape Cod offers a convenient locker delivery service to further enhance accessibility. Once you have completed the initial registration as a Pantry Client, you can take advantage of our on-campus Food Lockers located in both Grossman Commons and Maureen Wilkens Hall. This service provides an added layer of flexibility to fit your schedule:

Personalized Locker Pick-Up: Visit the pantry during our open hours and select the food items you need. Simply request our team to place your chosen items in a locker for pick-up at your convenience. Once your food bag is securely placed in the designated locker, you will promptly receive an email notification containing a unique access code to retrieve your bag.

Pre-Made Bag Locker Delivery: For an even quicker option, you can email Cheryl Kramer at the 4Cs Wellness Office at [email protected] to request a pre-made bag of food be delivered to a locker. This is an excellent option for those with time constraints or who prefer a ready-to-go food selection. Similar to the personalized pick-up, you will receive an email with a unique code once your pre-made bag is placed in a locker, ready for you to collect.
