Meet Amy Myler, P.A.
Hola! Amy Myler, Physician Assistant, is a valued member of the JMJ Family Practice team, bringing her expertise to the Moscati Center. Known affectionately as the “gringa,” Amy earned her undergraduate degree from Ave Maria University, where she majored in biology and cultivated a deep appreciation for coffee. She furthered her education at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, obtaining her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
During her clinical rotations, Amy had the privilege of training with Dr. Fernandez at JMJ Family Practice and was immediately drawn to the practice’s philosophy and the principles of functional medicine. Amy is a firm believer in treating the patient as a whole – mind, body, and spirit. She resonates with the wisdom of David Henry Thoreau, who stated, “A man may esteem himself happy when that which is his food is also his medicine.”
Amy is passionate about preventive medicine, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms. She is grateful to Dr. Fernandez and the entire JMJ Family Practice for welcoming her to the Moscati Center, which she proudly calls her new professional home.
