Alliance Family Health Center offers a wide range of primary care services to meet the diverse needs of our patients. We provide comprehensive women’s health services, continuing the legacy of Alliance Obstetrics, Inc., with a focus on delivering exceptional OB/GYN care. Beyond women’s health, our family practice and walk-in primary care services are designed to accommodate your busy schedule, offering extended hours, same-day, and next-day appointments, as well as walk-in availability.
In response to the growing need for integrated healthcare, we have expanded our services to include behavioral health. Since 2022, we have offered behavioral health services, and in January 2024, we welcomed a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to our team. This addition allows us to provide mental health care for patients aged 5 and up, ensuring holistic well-being for the entire family.

We believe that quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone. Alliance Family Health Center is a non-profit health center committed to removing barriers to care. To ensure affordability, we offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program to eligible patients, making healthcare services more financially attainable.
We also understand that language and transportation can be significant obstacles to accessing healthcare. Therefore, Alliance Family Health Center provides language and hard of hearing translation services to ensure effective communication for all patients. Additionally, we offer transportation assistance to help patients reach our center, because your health should not be limited by logistical challenges. Our Care Coordination Services further support patients in navigating their healthcare journey, connecting them with resources and ensuring seamless care.
History of Alliance Family Health Center: Serving the Community Since 2016
The Alliance Family Health Center has a rich history of serving the community. Established in August 2016, Alliance Family Health Center, Inc. marked a significant evolution from Alliance Obstetrics, Inc. While maintaining the trusted women’s health services, we expanded to offer integrated community services to better address the broader healthcare needs of the area.
On October 1, 2016, Alliance Family Health Center, Inc. officially began serving residents of Stark and Mahoning counties as a dedicated women’s health center. Recognizing the increasing need for expanded services and accessibility, we moved to a new, larger location at 1401 S. Arch Avenue on August 21, 2017. This new facility allowed us to extend our hours and broaden our service offerings. The former Alliance Community Hospital affiliated Alliance After Hours Care office joined us at this location, enabling us to introduce Family Practice, Walk-in Primary Care, and Women’s Health Services all under one roof. Further enhancing convenience, on June 1, 2018, AFHC announced new, more accessible hours for Family Practice and Walk-in Primary Care services, including morning and evening appointments on weekdays.
