Bradley Aaron Clarrey Obituary: Honoring a Life Well-Lived at Amos Family Funeral Home

Bradley Aaron Clarrey, 44, of Bonner Springs, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at his family home in Kansas City, Kansas. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Amos Family Funeral Home, located in Shawnee, Kansas, on Friday, August 2nd, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating Bradley’s life will also be held at Amos Family Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at 5:00 pm.

Bradley, affectionately known as Brad to many, will be laid to rest on his birthday, Friday, August 9th, 2024. A graveside service will commence at 10:00 am at De Soto Cemetery, situated at 34500 W 87th St, De Soto, Kansas 66018. Following the burial, a Celebration of Life will be held at Kobi’s Bar and Grill, 113 Oak St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, allowing loved ones to gather and share memories of Brad.

Brad was a beloved figure in the Kansas City area, particularly known for his passion for music. For 24 years, he entertained crowds as DJ Brad C, performing at countless venues throughout the region. He was a proud 1998 graduate of Bonner Springs High School and furthered his education by earning an associate degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College.

His professional life extended beyond music. Brad dedicated many years to Wal-Mart, starting shortly after college. His strong work ethic and leadership potential were quickly recognized, leading to roles managing various departments including electronics, lawn & garden, toys, sporting goods, pharmacy, and groceries. Despite his managerial success, his heart remained in music, a testament to his true passion.

Those who knew Brad remember him as an exceptionally kind and helpful person. He was always willing to lend a hand and offered unwavering support to those around him. Brad faced significant health challenges, battling cancer five times over 22 years. Throughout his fight, he maintained an admirable positive attitude and unwavering determination. While his fifth battle brought a different outcome, his spirit remained strong.

Brad is survived by his loving parents, Joyce A. and Michael J. Clarrey, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast network of friends. His impact on the community is immeasurable, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bradley Aaron Clarrey was truly loved and cherished during his time with us. His memory will live on in the hearts of many, and while his infectious grin may be missed, his music will undoubtedly be rocking in heaven.
