Before you head out, it’s always a good idea to check the YMCA website at ymca.net to confirm the location you plan to visit is part of the Nationwide Membership network.
To make the most of this perk, remember a few key guidelines. Nationwide Membership is for active members, so ensure your Bettendorf Family YMCA membership is current. A general rule is that the Bettendorf Family YMCA should be your “Home YMCA,” meaning you visit us more than 50% of the time. This helps support your local YMCA and keeps this amazing reciprocal program sustainable.
For those with seasonal travel or extended stays in other areas (more than 28 days), it might be more beneficial to temporarily switch your membership to the YMCA where you’ll be spending most of your time. Similarly, college students should join the YMCA closest to their primary residence or campus to align with usage guidelines. Remember, Nationwide Membership is based on individual usage.
