Blue Rocks Family Campground: Rules and Policies for a Memorable Stay

Welcome to Blue Rocks Family Campground, where our mission is to help your family create lasting memories in a fun, friendly, and respectful environment. To ensure everyone enjoys their time and appreciates the beauty of nature, we have established the following rules and policies. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them, and share them with your children and guests. We reserve the right to evict anyone who disrupts the campground atmosphere or violates these rules without refund.

General Information

  • Check-Out Time: For campsites is 2:00 PM. Kindly inform the Office upon your departure.
  • Cabin & Cottage Check-Out: Check-out for all cabins and cottages is earlier, at 12:00 PM.
  • Check-In Time: Check-in time is 3:00 PM.
  • No Refunds for Early Departures: Please note that we do not offer refunds for early departures due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Liability Disclaimer: Blue Rocks Family Campground is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or any loss or damage of personal property.

Rules of Conduct for a Pleasant Experience

To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all campers at Blue Rocks Family Campground, we request that everyone adheres to the following rules of conduct. Your cooperation helps maintain the family-friendly atmosphere we cherish.

Safety Guidelines

  1. Campground Speed Limit: The speed limit within the campground is strictly 5 M.P.H. Please drive slowly and be especially mindful of children playing.
  2. Camp at Your Own Risk: Campers acknowledge and accept that Blue Rocks Family Campground assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries that may occur on the premises.
  3. Child Supervision is Essential: Adults are responsible for the safety, behavior, and whereabouts of their children at all times while at Blue Rocks Family Campground.
  4. Pond Area Safety: Unattended children are strictly prohibited near the pond area for their safety.
  5. No Swimming in the Pond: Swimming in the pond is not permitted.
  6. Bicycle Rules: Bicycle riding is not allowed in the store area or near the main entrance. Helmets are mandatory for all riders. Bicycle riding is prohibited after dark for safety reasons.
  7. Campfire Safety: All campfires must be completely extinguished before going to bed or when leaving your campsite unattended.
  8. Adult Supervision for Children: Children may not be left unattended in the campground without a responsible adult present.

Campground Policies

  1. Alcohol Policy: Beer kegs are NOT allowed. Alcoholic beverages are permitted on your individual campsite only and should be kept discreet and not displayed publicly within the campground.
  2. Visitor Policy: All visitors must register and pay a visitor fee upon entering Blue Rocks Family Campground and obtain a visitor pass. Visitors are required to leave the campground by 10:45 PM.
  3. Tree Preservation: Cutting down any standing trees, whether dead or alive, is strictly prohibited. Defacing trees in any manner, including with nails, saws, or knives, is also not allowed.
  4. Power Tool Restrictions: The use of power tools is not permitted between 3:00 PM on Fridays and 2:00 PM on Sundays to maintain a peaceful environment.
  5. Campground Property: Tables and fire rings are not to be moved or removed from campsites. These are provided for everyone’s convenience and enjoyment at each specific site within Blue Rocks Family Campground.
  6. Firearms and Fireworks Prohibited: Firearms and fireworks are strictly NOT permitted anywhere within the campground premises.
  7. Trash Disposal: All trash must be properly bagged and placed in the dumpster before your departure from Blue Rocks Family Campground.
  8. Recycling: Please help us be environmentally responsible by recycling aluminum cans in the designated recycling containers.

Responsible Alcohol Consumption Policy

Blue Rocks Family Campground is dedicated to maintaining a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. Therefore, we strongly discourage alcohol consumption, and alcohol abuse is strictly prohibited. Public drunkenness and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and will be addressed by local law enforcement. Beer kegs, party balls, bulk alcohol cases, and drinking games are not permitted on the campground. Any alcohol consumption must be confined to your campsite and is not allowed at any organized campground activities.

Pet Policy for Pet Owners

We welcome well-behaved pets at Blue Rocks Family Campground, but to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, please adhere to the following pet policy:

  • Leash Requirement: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside your camping unit.
  • No Unattended Pets: Pets are NEVER to be left unattended outside at any time.
  • Pet Waste Responsibility: You are required to clean up after your pets immediately and dispose of waste properly.
  • Restricted Areas for Pets: Pets are ABSOLUTELY NOT permitted in the playground, activities area, cabins, cottages, or the camp store at Blue Rocks Family Campground.
  • Proof of Vaccinations: You MUST be able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations for your pet if requested.

General Courtesy for All Guests

  • Family-Friendly Language: Please refrain from using foul language. Blue Rocks Family Campground is a FAMILY Campground, and we aim to maintain a respectful environment for everyone.
  • Respect Campsite Boundaries: Do not walk through occupied campsites or through the stream that runs in front of campsites. Please respect the privacy of fellow campers.
  • Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of your neighbors during these hours. Report any disorderly conduct to campground staff.
  • Music and Noise Levels: Radios and music must be kept at a volume level that does not disturb neighboring campsites. Be considerate of those around you.
  • Campsite Condition: Please be considerate and leave your campsite in the same condition you would expect to find it upon arrival.

Pool Rules for Safe Swimming

  • Pool Cleanliness: Please help us keep the pool clean and enjoyable for everyone!
  • Pool Hours: The pool is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please do not use the pool outside of these hours.
  • Swim at Your Own Risk: There is NO lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk and supervise children closely.
  • Child Supervision at Pool: Children under 14 years old are not allowed in the pool area without a responsible adult (18+ years) present.
  • Prohibited Items in Pool Area: NO Glass containers, NO Food, NO Drinks (except water in non-glass containers), NO Diving, NO Cutoffs (swim attire only), NO Animals, NO Smoking, and NO Rafts or Balls are allowed in the pool area.
  • Hair Policy: Long hair must be tied back or worn under a bathing cap to maintain pool cleanliness.
