The Drake Family announces with deep sorrow the passing of their beloved son and brother, Cooper Christopher Drake, at the tender age of 3, of Livonia. Cooper, the adoring son of Chris and Corinne Drake, and proud big brother to Callie Denise, touched the lives of everyone he met with his sweet nature and vibrant spirit.
Cooper was the cherished grandson of Charles and Denise Sergison, Cathy Kletzka (Howard Deeter), and Jay Drake. He was a loving nephew to Andy (Jillian) Sergison, Nathan (Allie) Sergison, and Jaime (Andy) Keyosky. Cooper’s extended family and many friends also mourn his untimely departure.

Cooper’s Joyful Spirit and Lasting Impact
Cooper Christopher Drake was a beacon of joy and sweetness. Described by his parents as perfection, Cooper lived a life filled with imagination and a profound love for animals, leading to countless imaginative stories and adventures. His vivid descriptions and unique way of seeing the world were truly amazing for someone so young.
He embraced every experience with enthusiasm, especially if his cousins were involved. From racing around Grandpa’s boat to building sandcastles with Grandma on the beach, Cooper was always eager to join in. He observed, learned, and then fearlessly participated. His love for his cousins was evident, and the feeling was mutual. Cooper’s warm heart extended to everyone he met. He was known for striking up conversations with people everywhere, from the grocery store to the park, sharing his innocent and charming perspectives. Above all, Cooper cherished his family and treasured every moment spent with them.
A Celebration of Cooper’s Life: Dress Code Request
In honor of Cooper’s vibrant personality, the Drake Family invites those attending the service to celebrate his life in a style that reflects his joyful spirit. Guests are encouraged to wear jeans and their favorite character shirt. Some of Cooper’s beloved characters included Spiderman, Ninja Turtles, and Monster Trucks.
