During periods of network congestion, Family Mobile customers might experience reduced data speeds compared to carrier postpaid customers. For a small number of users who consume more than 40GB of data, speeds may be further reduced. 4G LTE Capability

To access 4G LTE speeds, you need both a 4G LTE capable device and a 4G LTE SIM Card. Please remember that actual availability, coverage, and speed can vary. LTE is a trademark of ETSI.

SafeLink Benefit Program

The SafeLink Benefit is a service supported by Lifeline, a government benefit program. Enrollment in Lifeline is limited to eligible consumers only. This service is non-transferable and restricted to one per household. You may be required to provide documentation of income or program participation for enrollment. TracFone Wireless, Inc. provides this service, which is currently unavailable in Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Virgin Islands, and Wyoming.

Bring Your Own Phone Plan

Walmart Family Mobile’s Bring Your Own Phone plan requires an unlocked compatible phone, an activation kit, and a Walmart Family Mobile unlimited service plan. You may need to adjust your phone’s Access Point Name Settings. Please note that SIM Kits and Phones are sold separately.
