Comprehensive Walk-In Clinic Services
The Walk-In Clinic at Mt. Olive Family Medicine offers a broad range of services to address your immediate health needs. We are fully prepared to treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:
- Infections and Illnesses: From common ailments like fever, ear infections, flu, and colds to more specific concerns, our team is adept at diagnosis and treatment. We also address upset stomachs and allergic reactions.
- Injuries and Pain Management: Whether you’ve experienced sprains, fractures, minor burns, acute pain onset, cuts, abrasions, or lacerations, our clinic provides the necessary care to start your healing process.
- Physical Examinations: We offer sports physicals, including secondary school and college level examinations. Please note that sports physicals and certain other physicals like CDL and Work Physicals are typically not covered by insurance. Secondary school sports physicals are $50, and college sports physicals are $75. CDL and Work Physicals are also available at our clinic for your convenience.
- Diagnostic and Testing Services: Our on-site capabilities include urine and pregnancy testing, as well as rapid testing for prevalent conditions such as COVID-19, Flu, and RSV.
- Advanced Procedures: For more complex needs, we offer ultrasound-guided injections and have a full procedure room equipped for laceration repair, IV fluid administration, splinting fractures, and various other procedures.
- On-site Imaging and Lab: Benefit from the convenience of our full X-Ray and Lab services, available during the week (excluding Saturdays with limited services).
Walk-In Clinic Hours of Operation
To best serve our community, the Mt. Olive Family Medicine Walk-In Clinic operates with convenient hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (Limited Staff and Services Available)
- Sunday: Closed
Please be aware of the following important details regarding clinic hours and access:
- Check-in Policy: To ensure you receive the best possible care, patients are required to check in at least one hour prior to our closing time.
- Early Closure Potential: In situations of exceptionally high patient volume, the Walk-In Clinic may need to close earlier than the posted hours.
- Arrival Recommendations: We strongly advise patients to arrive early in the day and not wait until near closing time to seek care. This helps us manage patient flow and ensure everyone receives timely attention.
- Saturday New Patient Policy: Acceptance of new patients on Saturdays is dependent on clinic volume, staff availability, and the clinic’s capacity to accommodate new individuals. Please call ahead if you are a new patient seeking Saturday services.
