Queen Creek, Arizona, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest recreational haven, Frontier Family Park. Spanning an impressive 85 acres, this park is set to become a central hub for community activities and family outings. Adam Robinson, Interim Director of Parks and Recreation, enthusiastically shared with ABC15, “It’s the town’s newest park at 85 acres. We have a lot of different play amenities going in… your typical baseball, softball fields, soccer, football fields, lots of pickleball courts, a real fun and exciting inclusive playground, basketball courts, volleyball courts, fishing lake, just all of the things in one place.” Get ready to explore a comprehensive recreational space designed to cater to all ages and interests, officially opening this June.

The decision to open Frontier Family Park reflects Queen Creek’s commitment to meeting the growing recreational demands of its residents. Robinson explained, “As we look to provide the number and type of amenities that our residents want, we just figured it was the time to get it all open now. So, we can get kind of caught up on just the needs for the community to play.” Starting June 8th, the community can take full advantage of the numerous fields and courts available at Frontier Family Park.

- A walking track that encircles the entire park. According to Robinson, “[This is] another feature we were excited about, as it’s just over a mile and a half if you take the track all the way around,” making it ideal for a jog or leisurely stroll.
Looking ahead, Frontier Family Park is set to expand its offerings with a Recreation / Aquatic Center currently under construction.
