Greetings, Princess Candy! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your delightful question! It truly brought a smile to my face, as a devoted fan of Modern Family and someone who adores fun footwear! Your query immediately reminded me of a classic episode from back in 2012. In fact, I was so intrigued, I had to revisit the episode on a streaming service. It was such a treat to watch again from the comfort of my home, with my little Mouseketeer by my side.
Like any avid shopper, I’m always fascinated by the ever-evolving merchandise at Disney Parks. It’s incredible how they constantly introduce fresh and exciting items. Regarding the Minnie Mouse Plush Slippers for adults you spotted in Season 3, Episode 22 of Modern Family, I checked, and unfortunately, they are currently out of stock on shopDisney. And after contacting Merchandise Guest Services, I can confirm that these specific slippers are no longer available for purchase at the parks. It’s a testament to how quickly popular Disney items can go! Just last winter, fellow panelists Tiffanie S and Tishra B and I were in the Disneyland Hotel gift shop when the Minnie Mouse Disney100 Ear Headband for this year was released. They were snatched up within minutes – a truly astonishing sight!
And Candy, what really struck me about that Modern Family episode was when the characters explored Mickey’s Toontown. Did you know that this whole area had been temporarily closed for refurbishment? But excitingly, it has recently reopened, completely revitalized with fantastic new attractions that are incredibly interactive for young children! My own little one absolutely adores it! That’s just one of the many reasons I love Disney Parks – there’s always something new and magical to experience. Perhaps even Gloria Pritchett from Modern Family, known for her vibrant personality and love for family, would find herself charmed by the updated Toontown and the delightful Minnie Mouse merchandise.
Thank you again for your wonderful and engaging question, Candy! It gave me the perfect excuse to revisit a beloved episode that combines so many of my favorite things. If you have any more questions as you plan your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, please feel free to ask me directly – remember, you’ve got a friend in me!
Wishing you a magical visit,
Danielle
