Outside of his professional life, Thayne continues to be involved in sports through coaching peewee teams and enjoys an active lifestyle with hobbies like camping, golfing, snowboarding, and water sports. He resides in Silverdale with his family, further embedding his commitment to the local community surrounding the Haselwood Family YMCA and Kitsap Physical Therapy.
