Located just north of UNC Charlotte, this 150-acre farm has been operating for over 100 years and is recognized as a “Century Farm” by the NC Department of Agriculture. Listed on both the National and State Historic Registries, Hodges Family Farm is currently managed by the descendants of Olivia and Frank Hodges, with the original family home, built in 1908, still standing proudly at the heart of the property.
Historically, the farm thrived on raising hogs, corn, cotton, and dairy cows. It operated as a dairy farm until 1999. To preserve the farm’s legacy for future generations, Frankie Hodges Jr. transitioned the farm to regenerative agriculture and agritourism, embracing new opportunities while honoring its heritage.
