Understanding Our Waitlist Policies
At Holy Family School South Pasadena, we strive to accommodate as many qualified applicants as possible. However, in cases where demand exceeds available spaces, a waitlist is established. It is important to understand our waitlist policies:
- Waitlist Validity: The Holy Family School waitlist is valid for one academic year.
- Annual Reapplication: Families wishing to remain on the waitlist must reapply each year. This ensures that our waitlist is current and reflects ongoing interest.
- Application Fee for Waitlist Reapplication: Once the initial application fee has been paid, a new application fee is not required for subsequent waitlist reapplications for the same child. However, this does not apply to applications for additional children in the family applying for the first time.
- Updated Documents and Interview: For each year of waitlist application, families are required to bring their child in for a brief interview and assessment. Submitting up-to-date documents is also necessary to ensure we have the most current information.
Commitment to Child Safety: Safeguard the Children Program
Holy Family School, in alignment with the Los Angeles Archdiocese, is deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students. Therefore, we strictly adhere to the Safeguard the Children Program.
Mandatory Compliance: Full compliance with the Safeguard the Children Program is a mandatory requirement for both church and school admission at Holy Family. This program is designed to create a safe and nurturing environment for all children within our school community.
