Hey everyone, it’s Jackson again! I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Nick’s Family Restaurant, right in the heart of downtown Vero Beach. What really made them stand out were their fun themed weeknight specials, like Wing Wednesday and the super tempting Friday Fish Fry. These are a great addition to their already awesome menu that’s packed with pizzas, sandwiches, tasty appetizers, and a huge selection of wings with all sorts of sauces.

Walking into Nick’s Family Restaurant is like finding a cozy spot where everyone feels welcome. You can immediately feel the friendly vibe from the locals chatting and laughing around you. The owners, Meggin and Nick Dimino, are truly the heart of this place. They’re incredibly warm and hospitable, making you feel like you’re part of their own family. You can tell they really care about serving great food and making sure everyone has a good time. Nick’s isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place where they create special dining moments with lots of care and attention to all the little things.

Buffalo Wings – A real American favorite, their wings come in orders of 10 and are served with your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing, plus celery sticks. You can choose between boneless or traditional wings, depending on what you like. And the sauce choices? Plenty! From Peanut Teriyaki to classic Buffalo, Jalapeño Garlic, and Italian Pain, there’s a flavor for everyone. My sister prefers milder flavors, so she always goes for the classic Buffalo sauce. These wings were perfectly balanced, just a touch sweet with a little heat – absolutely delicious.

Pastrami Reuben – I was lucky enough to try this sandwich as it was a Thursday night special. It’s made with thinly sliced, tender pastrami, tangy sauerkraut, crisp dill pickles, melted Swiss cheese, and a creamy Thousand Island dressing, all stacked between slices of toasted rye bread. The mix of textures and flavors was just right. The melted Swiss added a lovely creaminess, while the pickles and sauerkraut gave it a great tangy kick. Overall, this Reuben was a really satisfying and tasty meal.

Fried Shrimp Basket with French Fries – The fried shrimp were cooked perfectly – golden and crispy on the outside, but still juicy and tender inside. This is a popular pick from Nick’s basket menu, which also includes coconut shrimp and chicken fingers, so there are plenty of tasty options to choose from.
Our visit to Nick’s Family Restaurant was definitely one to remember. We left feeling really happy and satisfied, and we’re already planning our next visit to try more of their delicious food.
