This guide will walk you through the simple steps to create and export these reports after your Our Family Wizard Login. Journal reports are incredibly useful for documenting check-ins, special moments, and other crucial details within a client’s account, providing a comprehensive overview of journal entries, including creation dates and location information.

There are two straightforward methods to generate a journal report after you complete your Our Family Wizard login: utilizing the ‘Generate Report’ tool for customized reports or selecting individual entries directly from the main Journal navigation for more targeted printing. Both methods ensure you can efficiently export the necessary information.

Generating Reports with the ‘Generate Report’ Tool

The ‘Generate Report’ tool provides a flexible way to create comprehensive journal reports tailored to your specific needs. After you have completed your Our Family Wizard login and accessed the platform, follow these steps:

  1. First, enter Client View Mode from My Cases. This mode allows you to navigate as if you were the client, ensuring you’re accessing the correct account information.

  2. Once in Client View Mode, locate the drop-down navigation menu. Click on Journal. This will take you to the journal section of the client’s account where all entries are stored.

  3. Look for the three dots icon, typically located to the left of the search bar within the Journal section. Click on these dots. A window will pop up with several options. Select ‘Generate Report’ from this list.

  4. A new window will appear, presenting you with various filters for your report. You can customize your report by choosing specific date ranges, entry types, or other criteria. After selecting your desired filters, click the ‘Generate Report’ button. You will then see a confirmation message indicating that your report has been successfully generated and is being processed.

  5. Now, you need to Exit Client View Mode. Navigate to your Messages within your main account interface. Look in your Notifications folder for a new message. This message will be titled “Report Generated.”

  6. Open the “Report Generated” message. Inside, you will find a direct link to your newly created journal report. Click this link to open and view or download the report. The report will contain all the journal entries based on the filters you specified.

Printing Reports Directly from the Journal Feed

For situations where you need to print specific journal entries rather than a comprehensive report, Our Family Wizard offers the option to print directly from the Journal feed. After your Our Family Wizard login and navigation to the journal section, here’s how:

  1. Begin by entering Client View Mode from My Cases, just as you would for generating a full report.

  2. From the drop-down navigation menu, click Journal. This action will take you to the main Journal page, displaying all journal entries in a feed format. Here, you can browse through the entries to find the ones you want to include in your report. Our Family Wizard provides filter and keyword search functions to help you quickly locate specific entries based on keywords, dates, or other criteria.

  3. To select the specific entries for printing, use the selection column typically located on the left side of each entry.

    • To print a single entry: Simply click on the entry in the list on the left column. Once selected, the entry will be highlighted, usually in blue, indicating it is selected for action.

    • To print multiple entries: If you need to include several entries in your report, hold down the Command key (on macOS) or Ctrl key (on Windows) on your keyboard. While holding the key, click on each of the entries you wish to include. Each selected entry will be highlighted, showing that it has been added to your print selection.

  4. After selecting your desired entries, look for the Print icon. This icon is usually located somewhere on the Journal page, often near the search and filter options. Click the Print icon. A pop-up window will then appear to confirm that your report is being generated based on your selected entries.

  5. As with the ‘Generate Report’ tool, you will need to Exit Client View Mode to access your generated report. Go to your Messages and open the Notifications folder. Look for the message titled “Report Generated.”

  6. Open the “Report Generated” message and click the provided link. This link will lead you to the report containing only the journal entries you selected from the Journal feed, ready for viewing, printing, or saving.

By following these steps after your Our Family Wizard login, you can efficiently generate and print journal reports, whether you need a comprehensive overview or specific entries. These reports are invaluable for maintaining organized records and facilitating clear communication in co-parenting situations.
