As a YMCA of Greenville member, you have the advantage of visiting any branch location. When you sign up, you’ll designate a “home branch,” ideally the one you anticipate using most frequently (at least 51% of the time). This helps the YMCA allocate resources effectively and build a strong community within each branch.
Branch Household memberships are designed for two adults residing in the same household and their dependents aged 26 and younger. To accommodate extended families, additional adults aged 27 and older can be added to a household membership for an extra $15 per month per adult. Please note that proof of residency is required to confirm household membership eligibility.

- Monthly Automatic Bank Draft: This option involves an initial payment covering the joining fee and the first month’s dues. Subsequently, you authorize automatic monthly debits from your bank account, ensuring continuous membership and access to YMCA facilities.
- Annual Payment: Members can choose to pay annually via cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). This provides a straightforward, upfront payment solution for a year of YMCA benefits.
Membership rates are branch-specific, so refer to the rates detailed for your chosen branch. Please be aware that a service charge of 2.83% applies to credit card transactions, and a $0.39 service charge is applied to ACH transactions, reflecting the cost of processing these payments.
The YMCA of Greenville requires a ten (10) day written notice to process membership cancellations. If notification is received less than ten days before the next billing cycle, membership will continue for one final month. After cancellation, members have a 30-day window to rejoin without incurring the joining fee again. To cancel, members are asked to visit their branch to complete the necessary documentation, which formally authorizes the termination of the draft agreement with your bank. If a branch visit is not possible, cancellation requests can be submitted electronically by clicking here, including your name, birthdate, and reason for cancellation. A staff member will then contact you to assist with your request.
