The ten-year-old in our group declared mini golf and laser tag as the highlights, while the slightly younger nine-year-old wasn’t as thrilled with the soaking bumper boats or the competitive nature of laser tag. It’s worth noting that the height restriction of 58 inches meant they couldn’t join the older kids on the Indy Car go-karts, and the batting cages didn’t pique their interest. Meanwhile, the teenagers, initially skeptical about mini golf, quickly migrated to the thrilling arcade games, high-speed go-karting, and, of course, the always entertaining bumper boats.
One of Scandia’s biggest draws is the sheer variety of options available. The arcade alone could have swallowed hours and dollars if we weren’t watching the clock.
