We want to clearly outline the enhanced infection control measures we have implemented to safeguard the well-being of both our patients and our dedicated team.
Williams Family Dentistry diligently adheres to the rigorous infection control guidelines set forth by leading health organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our team continuously monitors updates and recommendations from these agencies to ensure our protocols are always in line with the most current best practices. You will notice some updates during your next appointment at Williams Family Dentistry, all designed with your protection and well-being in mind. These changes are part of our enhanced safety commitment:
- Prior to your appointment, a member of our team will contact you to conduct a brief health screening questionnaire. These same screening questions will be revisited upon your arrival at our office to ensure the most current information is considered.
- We have installed easily accessible hand sanitizer stations throughout our office. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering, and additional stations are conveniently located in the reception area and other key points within the practice for your use at any time.
- To minimize potential contact with shared items that are difficult to sanitize effectively, we have temporarily removed magazines, children’s toys, and similar items from our waiting room.
- Appointment scheduling at Williams Family Dentistry will be carefully managed to facilitate social distancing between patients. This may result in fewer immediate appointment time slots being available as we prioritize your safety and well-being.
- Our scheduling will also incorporate more time between appointments. This allows us to minimize waiting times for you and further reduce the number of patients in the reception area simultaneously, enhancing social distancing efforts and ensuring a smoother, safer experience.
