Atrium Health Primary Care Cabarrus Family Medicine’s roots go back over 30 years to a single practice in Mt. Pleasant. Since then, we have expanded to nine locations across Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Rowan, and Stanly counties. We have grown to include over 300 employees, with more than 60 dedicated physicians, becoming the 19th largest employer in Cabarrus County. Convenient Access to Test Results and Medication Management
We prioritize keeping you informed and managing your health efficiently. Our office will notify you of your test results via letter, phone, or through the secure MyAtriumHealth patient portal, typically within 10 business days.
For medication refills:
- Please remember to bring your medications to each appointment to ensure accurate records.
- We aim to prescribe sufficient medication to last until your next scheduled visit.
- To avoid interruptions in your medication, please request refills as soon as you begin your last refill. Contact your pharmacy to initiate the refill request with our office.
- Please note that refills for controlled substances require an in-person consultation with your provider.
- Antibiotics will not be prescribed without a prior examination.
- Refill requests are processed during regular business hours. Requests received after 3:30 p.m. will be addressed the following business day.
Insurance and Payment Information
Please bring your insurance card with you to every appointment. Payment for services, including insurance co-pays, is expected at the time of your visit. If you anticipate financial hardship, please contact our office manager to discuss potential options and assistance.
