After your initial visit, our online system will allow you to book another appointment 30 days after your last visit, ensuring fair access for all families.

Please allocate some extra time during your first visit. This will allow our team to gather necessary household information as required by the Second Harvest Food Bank. Rest assured, we do not require IDs or information regarding immigration status.

  • Mondays: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesdays: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Wednesdays: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Thursdays: CLOSED
  • Fridays: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

We kindly ask that each family shop exclusively for their own household needs. To accommodate all families, we appreciate you keeping your visit to within one hour. We deeply value children and their safety, so we ask that you please supervise them closely while you are in the market.

Understanding Our No-Show Policy

To help us make Family Market appointments available to as many families as possible, we sincerely request that you reschedule or cancel your appointment online if you are unable to attend. This simple step allows another family in need to utilize the time slot.

Failure to reschedule or cancel your appointment will be recorded as a “no-show” in our system. Accumulating 3 no-shows will result in your account being placed “under review.” At this point, a member of our staff will reach out to you to discuss your situation. If no-shows continue, your account may be temporarily paused. In such cases, our team will connect you with other resources that might be a better fit for your schedule and needs.

The Family Market is conveniently located at 3711 Alliance Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407. When you arrive, please use the 2nd door from the street entrance. You’ll easily spot our Family Market sign positioned above the correct entrance.

Please note that we are currently unable to provide transportation or financial assistance for transportation to and from the Family Market. For those using public transportation, the Hewitt/West Barton bus stop is located just 0.3 miles from our location, offering a walkable option.

The Family Market relies heavily on the generosity of donations to stock our shelves. Due to the nature of donations, we are unable to guarantee the availability of specific items at any given time. We encourage you to take what you need and kindly leave items you don’t require for other families in our community. Please remember that all donated items are intended for personal use and cannot be sold, traded, bartered, or returned to stores.

Our primary mission is to support children within our community. Therefore, please be aware that any non-food items available at the Family Market are specifically intended for children.
