Our visit happened to be during the off-season, which meant the waterpark was closed. Initially, there was a slight dip in excitement from the kids who had envisioned water slides and pools. However, that momentary disappointment quickly vanished as they discovered the plethora of other adventures awaiting them at this impressive fun park.
Jungle Rapids truly lives up to its name as a “Fun Park.” It’s so much more than just a waterpark; it’s a comprehensive entertainment hub. To make the most of our off-season visit, we opted for the “Triple Play” passes for each family member. This fantastic deal included access to two dry activities and a fun card, providing excellent value at $25.99 per person during our visit (prices are subject to change, so it’s always best to check their website).
The selection of dry activities at Jungle Rapids is outstanding. From mini-golf and rock climbing to laser tag, go-karts, bumper cars, and an expansive indoor play center, there’s something to pique everyone’s interest. Our family decided to kick things off with a round of mini-golf. The 18-hole course was brilliantly designed, offering a balanced challenge that was enjoyable for all skill levels. The imaginative obstacles scattered throughout the course were a hit with the kids, and we even celebrated a few hole-in-ones!
After conquering the mini-golf course, we decided to split up to maximize our fun and explore different activities. My eldest (12 years old) and my husband, always up for an adrenaline rush, headed straight for the go-karts. Meanwhile, my younger trio (ages 4, 6, and 8) were immediately drawn to the indoor play center. And let me tell you, the indoor play center at Jungle Rapids is truly exceptional. We’ve been to numerous indoor play areas, and this one surpasses many in terms of size and variety of attractions. The kids were absolutely thrilled, bouncing on the bouncy castle, navigating the intricate play structure, sliding into the ball pit, and even soaring on the zip line. They could have easily spent the entire day in this play paradise!
One of the biggest surprises of our visit was the arcade. Jungle Rapids boasts an arcade that is in a league of its own, featuring some of the most impressive and cutting-edge games I’ve ever encountered. We discovered mini-bowling lanes, perfectly scaled down for family fun at $3 per play. Then there was a colossal four-player air hockey table – unlike anything we had ever seen before! And for a nostalgic touch, they even had a giant version of the classic Connect 4 game! Chatting with one of the friendly staff members, I learned about their commitment to keeping the arcade fresh and exciting by adding new games annually from industry trade shows. It’s clear that Jungle Rapids takes immense pride in providing top-quality games and activities for their guests.
Although we didn’t get a chance to try out all the dry activities, we did take a peek at what else Jungle Rapids offers. The laser tag arena looked incredibly immersive, and the bumper cars were the spinning variety, adding an extra layer of fun. It’s evident that Jungle Rapids is designed to cater to a wide range of interests and ages.
