Wellesley Family Care Associates is delighted to introduce Jenna Nowlin/Johnson, Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP), who joined our practice in September 2024. Jenna brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care to our Wellesley Family Care community.
For the past decade, Jenna has served as a registered nurse, most notably in Labor and Delivery at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Her dedication extended to a per diem position in the Maternal Special Care Unit at South Shore Hospital, showcasing her expertise in managing complex maternal and neonatal cases. Beyond her clinical work, Jenna has shared her knowledge as an instructor in maternal child health at both Boston College and Quincy College, demonstrating her passion for education and mentorship within healthcare. This diverse background has provided her with a robust foundation in neonatal, pediatric, and women’s health, alongside a deep understanding of preventative health strategies, holistic health approaches, and patient education.
Jenna’s philosophy centers on collaborative care, emphasizing the creation of individualized treatment plans. She is dedicated to understanding each patient and their family unit within the context of their unique circumstances. This includes recognizing the various barriers, preferences, cultural beliefs, and family dynamics that can influence an individual’s health journey. Her commitment to providing holistic and patient-focused care aligns perfectly with the values of Wellesley Family Care Associates.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning and an active lifestyle, Jenna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in exercise science from Bridgewater State University. While there, she excelled as a student athlete on the tennis team, securing two conference titles. She furthered her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Family Practice from Regis College.
Outside of her professional life at Wellesley Family Care, Jenna cherishes time spent at home in Wrentham with her husband Steve, stepdaughter Madison, son Gregory, and their two Labrador Retrievers, Penny and Duncan. Actively involved in her community, Jenna is a member of the Wrentham PTO, Wrentham West committee, and Alex’s Team Foundation, supporting cancer research fundraising. Her personal interests include CrossFit, Peloton workouts, healthy cooking, reading, and DIY projects, reflecting her energetic and engaged approach to life, mirroring her dedication to patient well-being at Wellesley Family Care Associates. We are thrilled to welcome Jenna to our team and are confident that her expertise and compassionate approach will be a valuable asset to our patients at Wellesley Family Care.
